Book-worm...or Book-addict???
Can you actually read TOO much???? I asked my mom if she thought I was too 'into' the series I was reading, she said yes, but considering she gets annoyed by my constant want to tell her every single tiny detail of the books-'cause they're soooooooooooooo good- I figured she probably wasn't the best one to ask...I wonder if I am too obsessed with those books, but they are REALLY good! There are four of them,(the first one just came out in theaters), and I'm on the third one. But I really do feel sorry for my mom, I mean she listens to me talk about them, even if she does it very unwillingly, and I appreciate that. But, back to the question, am I to 'into' the book if I actually wish I was one of them, or if I imagine that those things that happen in the book happen to me and act them out to myself- well, when noone's home of course, lol. You know there was this one battle scene in the first book, and I will admit, I acted it out on the trampoline in the fall. Well, I geuss one good thing came out of it...I answered the question from my last post..."What will I do with all my time during winter vacation?" And i got the answer, read, read, read...Oh, and one last little tip...don't ever try to do a really high backflip like they do in Hollywood...believe me, I confirmed that quote people say about the producers having lots of equiptment that makes a battle scene only SEEM real....

Midieval times!
Well, tomarrow is a very special, fun, and nervracking day, see, since the school year began, we have been practicing for this Madrigal Dinner that's going on tomarrow. This Madrigal Dinner is going ot be sooooo much fun, because, it's midieval! Everone in the music department is dressing up in 'Ye Olden Clothes'. Then we get to escort the guests in and to their tables, and we serve them dinner courses,(wasale, salad, meat of some sort). While all of this is going on, the high school and jr. high bands ans choruses will be performing, not to mention the jestures! It's sort of going to be like a dinner theater, where they eat while we perform! Everyone of the students, including me, has to talk in a British accent, so it seems real. The big room that we'll be doing this in is decorated too, so it's going to be awsome! There are two high schoolers who are the king and queen, then the rest of the high schoolers are jestures, or lords and lasses. As for us jr. high students, we are peasants!!! Ya, peasants...poor, low classed, dirty clothes, all that. But, it's not to long before I'm going to be in high school, and get to wear those fancy dresses...or maybe even be THE QUEEN!!!!!!! Anyway, mo matter what level of society we're in, tomarrow will be a fun day, but maybe I should just get through the rest of today first!

Thanks....what???
You know, I am sooooo excited to eat the turkey ,corn, mashed potatoes, and my grandma's stuffing!!! I am excited to see the family, and hang out with my grandparents' cats, I'm excited to do all that stuff...but wait, shouldn't I really be excited to give thanks most??? See, most of Americans have forgotten how to give thanks, and we've let it slip at this time of year, we are so caught up in our travel, and our fun this time of year ecspecially. I would recommend that everyone tonight, just sit down and make a list of the things we're thankful for. Ya, we are all thankful for family, friends, home, money...on and so on, but how about the small things, like that you daughter actually picked up her room for once, or, like on my list, #14 is mountain dew!!! 'Cause I love mountain dew! But, point is this Thankgiving, I challenge you all to make a list of your own, even if your just strollin' in your car going to mom's, or aunt's house, you can make a mental list, but just be really THANKFUL for all you have, and don't forget to thank Jesus for coming down to earth and forgiving us...God bless you all, and have a happy Thanksgiving no matter where this holiday takes you!!!

Do Ra Mi....
So...I wasn't quite sure what to bloga about, so I asked my aunt...she said, "music, blog about music", so I will. Well, here it goes, music. I think I will start out withmy beginning. 2 and a half years sgo, a good friend of ours recommended private lessons for me, so I went to my vocal teacher's studio and auditioned, guess what...I got in!!! So a week later I started singing lessons. What it is is you go into a lesson once a week, learn about singing, she helps you prepare a song of your choice, and the last Sunday of every month, you go up on stage with a mic. and sing your heart out in front of all the other students. It's WAYYYYYYY fun, and you learn tons of new songs by watching and listening to the others sing. now, 2 and a half years later, here I am, and presently I am working on a song that has these lyrics...quick pop quiz...what is this song,
'The smile on your face lets me know that you need me,'
'There's a truth in your eyes saying you'd never leave me,'
'The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall,'
'You say it best, _______________________________________,'
So, anyone know? EEEEEEE, time's out the correct answer is...'When you say nothing at all'!!!!!Yay! I bet Brenda got that one, I mean she was the one that inspired me to play/sing that song in the first place. I'm going to be singing and playing the guitar to it this Sunday at Voice Class. Wish me luck!
