Facebook vs. Blogger

So...Facebook got the best of me, and I haven't even thought about blogging since my last post. :/ I feel bad for deserting Blog Spot for however many months now, but i guess a break was good... So this year I don't think I'm going to be in softball, My friends want me to and think I should, but i will be able to go out for golf next year and I was thinking maybe I should work on my golf swing instead of getting all confused next year on the course. I did that one year, did golf and softball in the same summer, never again. It was one of the two, either too high on my golf swing, or too low on my softball swing. It's still in debate, but I think i've made up my mind. So, anyway, I might not be back on Blogger any time soon, but don't think lowly of me, I'll still be writing about my thoughts, just on Facebook instead. :) So ttfn! ;)

Let's Play Ball!!!

Today softball started! I love my coaches! Even though the assistent coach had to be at a doctor's appointment for her baby...(she's pregnant)...I know her because she helped our teacher with math team last year, and she's cool. Our head coach's name is Coach Davis, but we call her Coach Dizzle, is awsome too! She is strict and works us hard, but that's what pushes us to be our best! Our first game is June 6th, so wish us luck!! ;)

Sorry.......

I called my post sorry because I am really sorry that I havn't blogged in FOREVER! But here I am now, and I've got a lot of catching up to do! Let's see, where do I start?.....

1. Just this past weekend we threw a surprise birthday party for my bff, and it was awsome! There were about ten girls there including me, and we all waited in her room for her to come home from grocery shopping with her dad. When we heard her car pull into the driveway, we all ran upstairs and hid into her room, hushed. When she walked inside, her mom (jokingly) yelled at her to go shut of her bedroom light because she "had left it on". Then, when she got to her room, we all jumped out and yelled surprise! I wouldn't be surprised if she was still shaking at this very moment! It was hilarious how frightened she was when she saw us! Haha! ;)

2. Softball starts this Thursday!!!!!!! I'm so excited because I love the coaches we get, and softball is my favorite sport to play!....aside from volleyball...;) The funny thing about softball this year is that all the games we have are start at 10:00am! Maybe it is just me, but it has never been that way before in my history of softball, I geuss it is the Jr. High....

3. School gets out in 8 days, May 29, and I am sooooooooo ready for summer!

4. This is probably the thing I am most excited for; for VBS at church, we always have skits every day with about three main characters, and I am one of the main characters!!!! My name is Sami, and I am a real girly-girl who is prissy and only cares about her looks and self!!!!!.....I geuss I'm not that stuck-up, but it'll be fun to portray and be that type of person for a little while!

Busy, busy, busy!!!

Oh my goodness!!!!! I just realized the other day that I haven't blogged in FOREVER!!!!!! That used to be my first priority everyday after homework! Uhhhhgggg! Anyway, I've been spending a lot of time on my facebook acount, doing homework, practicing music, honor band, honor choir, knitting, playing my new nintendo ds, dancing to Taylor Swift music in my room, working on my science fair project, playing Christopher's new wii game, and hanging out with friends, you could say I've been busy! (But I guess technically,(I think I spelled that wrong...), some of them I just choose to do...for fun). Hmmmmm...I want summer, but can you believe it, 54 degrees out!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!! Score!

Birthday Fever

Well, I'm counting down the days 'till my birthday! I will be 13! I wonder how it feels to be a teenager? So, I have 11 days until the big day, and I was thinking about what I'm doing for it. Usually, I have a party, with about 4-6 people, but this year I just wanted to have a sleep-over with my closest friends. I was thinking about have my three best friends over night, but when I asked mom what she thought of it she said no. She suggested one person, but that would be to hard to decide, so we sort of compromised on two friends, and even though it will be difficult having to leave one out, it's better than two out. I don't quite know just yet, but I'll bring it up when she comes home from Omaha...13!!!!!!!! (I think mom's just scared of having four teenage girls in the house at one time ;)...lol just kidding mom).

Book-worm...or Book-addict???

Can you actually read TOO much???? I asked my mom if she thought I was too 'into' the series I was reading, she said yes, but considering she gets annoyed by my constant want to tell her every single tiny detail of the books-'cause they're soooooooooooooo good- I figured she probably wasn't the best one to ask...I wonder if I am too obsessed with those books, but they are REALLY good! There are four of them,(the first one just came out in theaters), and I'm on the third one. But I really do feel sorry for my mom, I mean she listens to me talk about them, even if she does it very unwillingly, and I appreciate that. But, back to the question, am I to 'into' the book if I actually wish I was one of them, or if I imagine that those things that happen in the book happen to me and act them out to myself- well, when noone's home of course, lol. You know there was this one battle scene in the first book, and I will admit, I acted it out on the trampoline in the fall. Well, I geuss one good thing came out of it...I answered the question from my last post..."What will I do with all my time during winter vacation?" And i got the answer, read, read, read...Oh, and one last little tip...don't ever try to do a really high backflip like they do in Hollywood...believe me, I confirmed that quote people say about the producers having lots of equiptment that makes a battle scene only SEEM real....

Midieval times!

Well, tomarrow is a very special, fun, and nervracking day, see, since the school year began, we have been practicing for this Madrigal Dinner that's going on tomarrow. This Madrigal Dinner is going ot be sooooo much fun, because, it's midieval! Everone in the music department is dressing up in 'Ye Olden Clothes'. Then we get to escort the guests in and to their tables, and we serve them dinner courses,(wasale, salad, meat of some sort). While all of this is going on, the high school and jr. high bands ans choruses will be performing, not to mention the jestures! It's sort of going to be like a dinner theater, where they eat while we perform! Everyone of the students, including me, has to talk in a British accent, so it seems real. The big room that we'll be doing this in is decorated too, so it's going to be awsome! There are two high schoolers who are the king and queen, then the rest of the high schoolers are jestures, or lords and lasses. As for us jr. high students, we are peasants!!! Ya, peasants...poor, low classed, dirty clothes, all that. But, it's not to long before I'm going to be in high school, and get to wear those fancy dresses...or maybe even be THE QUEEN!!!!!!! Anyway, mo matter what level of society we're in, tomarrow will be a fun day, but maybe I should just get through the rest of today first!

Thanks....what???

You know, I am sooooo excited to eat the turkey ,corn, mashed potatoes, and my grandma's stuffing!!! I am excited to see the family, and hang out with my grandparents' cats, I'm excited to do all that stuff...but wait, shouldn't I really be excited to give thanks most??? See, most of Americans have forgotten how to give thanks, and we've let it slip at this time of year, we are so caught up in our travel, and our fun this time of year ecspecially. I would recommend that everyone tonight, just sit down and make a list of the things we're thankful for. Ya, we are all thankful for family, friends, home, money...on and so on, but how about the small things, like that you daughter actually picked up her room for once, or, like on my list, #14 is mountain dew!!! 'Cause I love mountain dew! But, point is this Thankgiving, I challenge you all to make a list of your own, even if your just strollin' in your car going to mom's, or aunt's house, you can make a mental list, but just be really THANKFUL for all you have, and don't forget to thank Jesus for coming down to earth and forgiving us...God bless you all, and have a happy Thanksgiving no matter where this holiday takes you!!!

Do Ra Mi....

So...I wasn't quite sure what to bloga about, so I asked my aunt...she said, "music, blog about music", so I will. Well, here it goes, music. I think I will start out withmy beginning. 2 and a half years sgo, a good friend of ours recommended private lessons for me, so I went to my vocal teacher's studio and auditioned, guess what...I got in!!! So a week later I started singing lessons. What it is is you go into a lesson once a week, learn about singing, she helps you prepare a song of your choice, and the last Sunday of every month, you go up on stage with a mic. and sing your heart out in front of all the other students. It's WAYYYYYYY fun, and you learn tons of new songs by watching and listening to the others sing. now, 2 and a half years later, here I am, and presently I am working on a song that has these lyrics...quick pop quiz...what is this song,
'The smile on your face lets me know that you need me,'
'There's a truth in your eyes saying you'd never leave me,'
'The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall,'
'You say it best, _______________________________________,'
So, anyone know? EEEEEEE, time's out the correct answer is...'When you say nothing at all'!!!!!Yay! I bet Brenda got that one, I mean she was the one that inspired me to play/sing that song in the first place. I'm going to be singing and playing the guitar to it this Sunday at Voice Class. Wish me luck!

Sell, Sell, Sell!!!

Anyone know what time it is???? Girl Scout fall product selling!!!! You know it's funny how last year they switched the cookie sales with the other products/magazines. I mean, if I go to someone's house, and ask them if they would like to check out the order form for this year, they have that grin on their face, and a shine in their eyes, and I think YES!!!!, they're going to load that line up with products!!(lol, good frasing tessa), Then they squish my high hopes, and ask, "So, are there any new cookies this year? When I explain that they mixed the cookies up with the product sales, they just look and say, "Oh, well come on in, I'll look, but..."
So, Anyway, moral of the story, change isn't always the best in some cases. (P.S. did you notice how I just refered to one of the canadettes thoughts, but didn't notify who???? Lol, wink wink)....

Boo!!!

Today we had our little Jr. High halloween dance today! I didn't think that it would be very fun at all! I thought most of us(including me) would just sit around and talk...well, I was greatly mistaken! We(including me) were dancing, playing games, having fun and talking at the same time. I don't have anyone that I "like" if you know what I mean, so when it was time to find that "special someone", I just grabbed a balloon and started just waltzing around the big dance floor! It was so fun! Some people said I was crazy for waltzing with a balloon, but I thought it was fun to show off my craziness to my "co-workers" once and a while. After a little random dancing to the fast and crazy songs, my english teacher gave me a bag of candy, saying,"Here's for dancing...oh, and thanks for the entertainment!" That cracked me up!

Important Questions...

Last night I was lying in bed, and I was asking myself random, yet important questions, here is what I came up with...
*Why doesn't Tigger wear a shirt?
*On the show Home Improvement, what are the colors of Al's mom's eyes?
*What is my math teacher's favortie kind of bread?
*Why is my Webkinz starring at me right now?
*Who thought of the word oven?
*Does the Muffin Man have a cupcake wife?
*Could Abe Lincoln do the splits?
*What does an alien baby look like?...(If there is such thing)
*Why did the cow jump over the moon?
*Does Big Foot have a kid named Sally?
*And last, Why is Bob such a common name?

Presents...again!?!?!

It just really occured to me yesterday that my borther's birthday is in four days!! Ahhh!!! I hadn't thought about it there is so much to do...I have to think about decorating, helping him with his annual birthday treats for his class, I have to get him a present, and.....then I stopped to actually think about it, and I realized, teehee, silly Tessa...those are mom and dad's jobs! I can relax, for now. But, I still SHOULD get him a gift...wait, wasn't it just yesterday he turned four years old???

A Fresh Start!!

I don't know if it's a good thing, but mom said it was... I haven't been on my past blog, (Life Journal), for awhile, because, one; I have been caught up in some school stuff like, volleyball, homework, etc. And two; I can't remember my blog password or the sign in name, so, I was forced to build a new one. Which, I guess, isn't to bad but anyway...enough of the bad news, the good news is that i get to blog with the world, (and my aunt), again! (oh, and I wrote my password down this time!!) ;)
